The Nerves - Paper Dolls
sometimes I forget just how GOOD The Nerves are.
The Cat’s Miaow - I Hate Myself More Than You Do
melancholy, fuzzy, poppy, beautiful. The Cat’s Miaow truly knew how to capture the autumn season, any of their music would be perfect to listen to with some cider and a sweater.
The Troggs - Love Is All Around
happy october sunday!
Twin Peaks - Mirror of Time
Twin Peaks slows down for a breather in this track. With a solid 60s vibe I think it’s one of the best songs on their album Wild Onion.
The Toms - I Can’t Spot You
Pretty obscure 70s power pop that sounds a little more modern than some of its contemporaries. Incredibly solid. At times sounding a little like Weezer if they existed in the 70s, other times hitting all the right marks that a power pop band should. Perfect Beatles influenced sound. Seriously though, if you can dig up a copy of this album do it, it’s an awesome listen.
Happyness - Anything I Do Is All Right
posting another song from their album because it’s good. 90s-esque sludge with some damn catchy hooks thrown in. Really enjoying this. The chorus in this is a realllll earworm. I’m bouncing around as I listen to this.
The Chills - Rolling Moon
This song would fit perfectly on any autumn mixtape, jangly and brisk, but also about werewolves. So.. yeah.
The Lucksmiths - Sunlight In A Jar
truly a perfect pop album, as perfect in autumn as it is in the spring or summer.
Tweens - Forever
poppy garage rock with some damn good lead vox.
